スプライン付きのディスクブレーキ取り付けインターフェース
ディスクブレーキの取り付けインターフェースには、スプライン式とセンターロック式の2種類が一般的です。スプライン式の方が一般的で、取り付けも比較的簡単です。センターロック式の場合は、ディスクハブのロックリングを取り外すための工具が必要です。6ボルト式のローターは取り付けが容易で、ボルトも6本しか必要ありません。センターロック式は、高性能ロードバイクでよく使用されています。
ポストマウント式ディスクブレーキにはポストマウントアダプターが必要ですが、フラットマウント式ディスクブレーキには必要ありません。ポストマウントアダプターはより一般的で、カーボンマウンテンバイクによく使用されますが、フラットマウント式はロードバイクやグラベルバイクで標準になりつつあります。ただし、すべてのディスクブレーキアダプターはローターサイズに合わせて調整可能です。ロードバイクは通常160mmのローターを使用し、マウンテンバイクは180mmまたは200mmのローターを使用します。
ヘリカルスプラインを備えたディスクブレーキ取り付けインターフェース
