The tractor’s short shaft, generally referred to as the PTO, transmits electrical power from the tractor to the PTO-pushed equipment or device. At any speed, their rotation is proportional to the velocity of the tractor motor. Most incidents involving PTO stubs are due to clothing becoming caught by a active but unsuspecting PTO stub.
