    316 CZPT er resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion is essential, in chloride environments. A lower machining capacity can be acknowledged.

    SUS 416:

    Motor Shafts, Washing CZPT Elements.
    Bolts and Nuts, Studs, Gears.
    Even greater machining ability than 303 is necessary, and a reduce corrosion resistance can be tolerated. Or hardening by thermal treatment method is required, although sustaining a high machining potential.
